I wanted to share the pictures I took of Evon on my birthday. We had lots of fun that day, Evon seems to really likes to be in front of the camera, a natural! I will post more up soon

Growing so fast !!

Evon just seems to be growing and getting bigger so fast. She is doing great and having lots of fun! She can sit up on her own better each day and has no problem pulling herself up and siting with some support. Yesterday she rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time! And , she was really pushing up with her legs alot during tummy time. She has also been pushing up further with her arms. Crawling is probably just around the corner and will happen before we know it. Evon has been eating pea's for a week now and we can tell she doesn't like them as much as her cereal. But , she eats them and has alot of fun making a mess! Night time is better now too. Evon only wakes up 1 to 3 times a night now once she is finally asleep. She really loves bathtime and enjoys splashing so much! We are getting more into a routine as the days go by. It is just so much fun to be with her everyday and watch her learn and grow.

Dr. Visit

Evon had her 6 month check up last week. She is very healthy and everything is going well. Evon now weighs 13 lbs. 8 oz. and is 2' 1.5" long. She had more shots and did not like them , it is so hard to see her cry ! Evon also cried when she saw the Dr. and nurse. She cries when she sees any one besides Mommy or Daddy right now. We will be going back for another shot in 2 weeks and a weight check in 6 weeks. We will keep you updated on her progress !

6 Months Old !!

Evon is now 6 months old !! It's almost hard to believe, it went by so fast ! She is definately looking and acting older. She has a lot more hair coming in and has been making new and more expresive faces. Lately she has been sticking her tongue out all the time and has discovered how to make a clicking sound using the roof of her mouth. She is trying out new sounds , screams and loves to laugh. Evon loves to eat her cereal amd now enjoys it twice a day. On Monday we are going to start giving her some veggies also. Sometimes she will try to sit up on her own in her chair or on your lap. She will lock her legs and stand and stumble while you hold her up , she thinks that is alot of fun. Also , she likes it when you hold her hands and pull her up on your lap from leaning back to a sitting position. Evon is so much fun and we are enjoying every minute with her. The next six months will probably also go by so fast and she will be a big girl before we know it.
