Sitting up by myself !

Evon's Progress

Evon is doing great! She enjoys playing more than ever and is laughing more and more. Now she can play in her activity center and really enjoys it. She sits in the middle and can spin around and play with all different toys. It is helping her learn to stand but she is supported and can also lift her legs and just sit in the seat. Tummy time is also a lot of fun for Evon , she can roll all over the place now and sometimes scoots a little. Sometimes she will sit on her own for a little while now with no support ! Evon is really growing and doing all kinds of fun new things. Before we no it she will be crawling and walking. Verbally she is making all kinds of sounds and babbling all the time. She can definately say ma ma , da da , na na , and ba ba. Evon is now eating baby food three times a day. She has tried several vegetables and will be trying her first fruit today - banana's ! 7 Months Old

Evon is 7 months old today! She is doing great and developing so quickly lately. She has mastered rolling over each way and will do several rolls in a row now. Evon now loves tummy time and will roll to get where she wants to go and really reach for toys. She can push herself around in a circle with her legs and sometimes even scoots alittle. Verbally Evon is really developing! She can now say Ma Ma Ma Ma ! She has been able to for about 3 days now. She also babbles all kinds of other sounds , sometimes they seem to sound like words but are really just letter and vowel sounds. Yesterday I could hear Da Da a few times. It is so exciting to know soon she will be saying some words and be able to talk to us! We are also teaching her some sign language , the only sign she knows so far is milk. She will make it when she is hungry or sometimes upset. She is looking older and has had a lot more hair come in. We are all getting in more of a rountine but some nights bedtime is still a struggle. Evon has a wieght check in a few weeks so we will find out how much she has grown. Everything is going well and we are just enjoying watching the baby learn and grow!

Evon Update

Evon is doing great! She tried carrots for the first time yesterday and really liked them. Here are a few photos of her enjoying eating. She is really sitting up well with support and doing it all the time. She is rolling over both ways like crazy and pushing up with her arms and legs but not using them both at the same time yet. Sometimes she scoots forward alittle. Seems like she wants to start moving all around as soon as she can. We know it won't be long and are really enjoying these days when we can hold her all the time before she is on the move. She is just developing so fast , growing and changing. We say all the time how she is becoming a little girl. Evon is really getting her own little personality. She loves to laugh and play and now finds certain things funny. If we both laugh she laughs too and thinks that is alot of fun. She has little games she likes to play with us now. Throwing her toys on the floor over and over is one of her favorite things to do. We are going to the doctor for another shot on Thurs. but, after that she won't have to get any for quite a while which will be nice. We will keep you all updated on her progress.
