Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Evon had lots of fun helping Mommy cook and relaxing with Daddy. She really enjoyed dinner , when she saw the plates she said " Wow ! Pretty , pretty Thanksgiving." Evon watched a Christmas special on T.V. with Daddy after dinner and has been enjoying many Christmas shows ever since. It is hard to believe it's that time of year already! Evon is growing so fast and time seems to really fly by the older she gets. Evon is so smart , she is saying so many knew words all the time and putting many sentences together. Seems like she learns a new word of two almost everyday! Coloring , especially with pens and markers and play doh are two of Evon's favorite activities. She also loves to sing and dance and do summer salts and try to stand on her head. We have been enjoying playing in the fallen leaves outside and driving around looking at the " pretty lights". Evon is also playing pretend more and more. She talks to her animals and dolls and likes to pretend to cook and serve Mommy and Daddy. Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving time. Hope everyone had a great Halloween! Evon really enjoyed everything about the holiday this last month. We visited the pumpkin patch and carved pumpkins. She had fun putting up decorations and making cookies. Evon really loved all the " pretty lights" and decorations around the neighborhood! On Halloween night she liked seeing the other kids dressed in their costumes and seemed like she wanted to go trick or treating also. Daddy and Mommy took turns taking Evon around to a few houses but she was to scared to go up to any doors. We just had a fun time walking around at night and looking at everything. Evon loved her costume and looked forward to being a bee for weeks. She has still been wearing her bee hat the last few days and running around saying " buzzz , buzzzzzzz.
Evon Marie is two years old!! It is hard to believe sometimes but, our baby is becoming such a big girl. Evon really enjoyed her birthday. She had company and a fun party. Evon is still talking about everything and saying Happy Birthday all the time. She is having so much fun playing with all her new toys. We also visited the beach and zoo. It is hard to believe Evon Marie will be two years old in less than 3 weeks! We are getting so excited for her birthday and I think she is too. Evon is becoming such a big girl! She is saying so many new words and just talking up a storm all the time. Evon loves to sing and dance and knows some words to her favorite songs. She can count to 10 along with us and counts to three by herself often. She will say how many there are of things. Like ," doggie 2 eyes. It is just amazing how many words she has learned. Evon is really communicating well. She understands what we are saying and can do things when we ask her to. Lately Evon is really enjoying helping us do things around the house and tries to help us clean. Tonight she took some baby wipes and went around the house wiping everything saying "I clean up". We get such a kick out of all the cute , funny things she does. We have all been enjoying summer together. Evon loves to go in her pool when she can and the big pool with Mommy and Daddy. We have had a lot of fun trips to the beach and park. One of our favorite things to do is go see all the animals at the zoo! Last trip Evon just loved seeing all the turtles! Hard to believe Evon is 22 months now and will 2 in two months!! She is becoming such a big girl! Evon is into anything and everything all the time , always exploring the world around her. She loves to be outside and has been visiting the park and the beach. We are looking forward to summer and all the fun outdoors things we can enjoy with her. Evon is talking all the time now and putting several words together at once. She can even say a few sentences like " I take a bath"? She has been saying more and more words and the newest one is crocodile. Sometimes we are so amazed at how smart she is!! Evon is becoming more and more independent. She tries to put on her own shoes and wants to sit in a big chair instead of her highchair. Yesterday Evon got a Duckie Potty and can you believe it ,she went pee pee in it the very first day !!! We were so excited and proud of her !!! She is getting so grown up so fast. Here are some recent pictures of Evon to enjoy.
Evon is now 21 months! She is getting so big so fast , and so smart! Evon is saying all kinds of new words and putting 3 or more words together quite often. She still says the bunny brought her eggies all the time and bunny bring more eggies? We think she is waiting for the Easter Bunny to bring her more eggs. We are starting to talk about her birthday and have picked a zoo animal theme for her party. Mommy has decided to make a monkey cake this year. Evon can say monkey cake , birthday and two. We are trying to get her to say she will be two on her birthday. Last night she saw her Daddy eating ice cream and said "Da Da ice cream". I am sure she wanted some too as Evon just loves ice cream and yogurt and requests them almost daily. Evon loves to run and play outside and all over the house. Some of her new favorite actives are hiding her favorite ball and looking for it calling Scooby ball where are do? (it has Scooby Doo pictures on it) It is most frequently hiding under the bed and sometimes other toys are too. Evon also loves to throw anything and everything down the stairs now toys , shoes you name it. She loves to color , take baths , help Mommy put groceries away and draw in the dirt with sticks. Evon is so full of energy and can be a handfull now but she is more and more fun each day! Always doing , saying and learning something new!
Hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a nice relaxing day and enjoyed time together. Evon wasn't super excited about her Easter basket but enjoyed taking things out and playing with them one at a time. The weather wasn't that nice , it was over cast and drizzly a few times through out the day. Evon had fun at her Easter egg hunt she loves eggies! She put them in the basket and back out ,but her favorite part was throwing them at the ground and all around. The next day when we went outside she said "eggies"? She thought there would be eggs in the yard again and was a little sad they weren't there. Evon has still been playing with plastic eggs all week! She says " budy a eggies". (Bunny brought eggs) Here are some pictures from Easter Day.
Evon is now 19 months old , she will be two before we know it. Evon is getting bigger and smarter everyday! Her favorite thing to do is just be free and run around everywhere. She loves to run all around the house and laugh and scream. Evon loves to chase the dog and play with him and sometimes try to torture him. Lucky is a good sport though because later on Evon always feeds him some of her cookies. Evon loves to be outside !! When the weather is nice we go for walks and play outside everyday. We have been visting the park and recently Evon went to the zoo for the first time! She loves animals and we are looking forward to visiting the zoo here a lot this summer. Evon is saying all kinds of new words like milk , ball , baby , cook (for cookie) , wawa (water) , Lucky ,bowl , spoon , kick (when she kicks a ball) and she puts a few words together sometimes now. Evon often asks Da Da back ? and Ma Ma back ? and when we return she says Da Da back ! Evon is so curious and often trying to get into things and figure out how things work. Sometimes she hides things , some of them we still can't find. Evon understands so many things and will do things when you ask her like put her dirty clothes in the hamper or bring us her shoes. She loves to brush her hair and teeth and has been trying so hard to put her shoes on by herself. Everyday is such an adventure with Evon ! We are really enjoying all the new things she is doing and all the new things we can do and experience with her ! She is sometimes a handful now and often we are all exhausted by the end of the day but we have so much fun ! Here are lots of recent pictures of Evon and all her activities!
