Summertime !!

Evon had such a fun summer!! We also had so much fun experiencing all the wonderful summertime activities and sharing new things with her for the first time. Usual for San Diego the weather didn't really feel like summer until later in the season. Finally we enjoyed some really hot days and fun times in the pool! Evon also loved going to the park to play and visiting the beach!! Everyday Evon goes for a walk around the neighborhood and has so much fun discovering new things and bringing home all her little treasures she finds out in nature. We really had a fun time visiting the County Fair this year.  Evon loved all the animals and had such a fun time riding all the rides!!! Of coarse the highlight of our summer was Evon's Birthday!! She had such a fun time and really enjoyed all the festivities and visiting with family! Evon has been so busy playing with all her new toys and art supplies and loves her new clothes and all her gifts! Evon also got her very own tricycle which she has perfected riding over the summer. She loves to take it to the park and ride around and go for rides around the neighborhood. Playing sports is one of Evon's favorite things to do and she has been having fun playing T-ball , golf and soccer. You can even pitch Evon the ball and she will hit it several times without the T !!! She is a natural!!! Evon has also started a Sports class at our local Gymborre. She has so much fun running around and playing with the other kids. She is also learning to work as a team and follow directions from the teacher. Another favorite thing to do was visit Sea World and the Zoo several times this summer.  Evon just loves all the animals and fun activites! We really did have a wonderful time and our still enjoying the warm San Diego weather!! Here are some pictures from Evon's adventures this summer!!!

Springtime

So excited its springtime! Evon has really been growing like a weed! We had such a fun Easter and the bunny brought  lots of eggies. Evon has been loving being outside and playing. She is so into nature , enjoying all the plants , bugs and animals. She has been helping mommy with planting , and is learning the names of  all the flowers. Many of them she can all ready recognize. Evon is learning so much all the time. She loves to sing and can recite so many cute little children's songs. She loves to talk and has a great memory! She really enjoys telling stories and recounting things we have done recently with great detail. Evon also really loves coloring and painting. She is starting to draw shapes, faces and little pictures. Her favorite drawings she calls potato men. Evon is also learning to write her name. She is doing so well and has the E and O down, She loves to practice writing it all the time! Evon definitely knows her name and if you ask her who she is she says " I Evon Sabo." But , lately she like to be called Cinderella. Reading is still one of Evon's favorite things. She can remember many of her favorite stories and recite them or parts of them to you. It is fun for her to read along with you and she is staring to recognize a few words. We are all looking forward to Summertime and getting excited to go in the pool and enjoy all the summer activities together. Evon is getting so big , can't believe she will be 3 in 3 months. They really do grow so fast!

Evon Update :)

Hello to all ! Evon has certainly been keeping us busy lately. She is becoming so grown up and so smart !! She can recite the alphabet now and reconize letters. She also loves counting and can identify shapes and colors. We have been practicing writing and the spelling of her name as well. Evon has even memorized a few of the books we read everyday and loves to recite the words like she is reading to you! It is just so amazing to watch her learn and grow! Evon just loves to play and entertain herself. She enjoys playing pretend and helping do things around the house. She has fun going bye bye in the big car and loves to help us do the shopping. Evon even has her own grocery cart and gets her own list to find things in the store. Evon just loves anything artistic and has fun coloring , painting , using markers and playing play doh. She also enjoys taking care of her baby and taking her for walks everyday. We are really looking forward to celebrating Easter with Evon this year. She is getting excited and says the Easter Bunny is going to bring her lots of eggies! Here are some recent pictures of Evon to enjoy !
